Posted on | April 18, 2012 | No Comments

It is imperative fro any marketer or an associate to submit the articles in a proper way, in order to generate traffic on their website. As only a proper way would make them earn a substantial income within a set time frame. While if a marketer does not handle his work in the proper way, then this would affect the productivity of the business in the long run.

Therefore, any marketer cannot afford to get his business affected in any way and it to thrive in every possible way. So, there are some considerations which have to be focused on and they include five things to avoid doing while article submission online and these are mentioned below.

1). Knowing about the wrong way to submit articles

It has been seen that the writers go for a convenient way to writing .That is they submit rewritten articles instead of writing their own original articles and submitting them online. Therefore, if they want to be distinctive and stand out among other writers, they need to focus on creativity and original content which can be used for article submission.

2). Knowing the right way to submit articles

It is necessary for the article writer use the service of a professional and experienced article submission service to submit his articles.  And these articles would later be seen and used by different consumers and would serve their purposes as well. 3). A USP is necessary for article submission

A USP stands for unique selling proposition and it has to be used by the article writer when he is going for article submission online. With the help of USP, the viewers can acknowledge and appreciate the information of a particular product or service. Apart from this, a USP can be used to advertise a product or a service to specific group of customers which would show interest and prefer to purchase the product or a service. On the other side, an article writer should make sure that his articles are edited and are free from errors before they are submitted.

4). Pre-plan your marketing campaign

It is imperative for an article writer to plan out his article submission before he markets them online. He should have a specific time period in which he would submit his articles and should also know when he will submit the articles. But, writer has got flexibility about writing the articles as and when needed and can submit them whenever he wants without having to meet a deadline.

Precautions to take when you hire a car

Posted on | February 25, 2012 | No Comments

There are many reasons why one might want to hire a car, including tourism, travelling, house moving, dates, special occasions, weddings, funerals, etc. The most important thing to keep in mind when you go to a car hire, is to take safety measures and precautions against being cheated or picking a bad deal. You can check online beforehand, the reputation of a particular car hire website or store to ensure their legitimacy. Also look up with a local insurance company, to check the accident rates and other safety statistics of various cars, so you can pick the best car possible.

Look for a car that meets your needs. Most car hire ( bil leie ) agencies will try to push upon you a vehicle of their choice, insisting it to be better than yours. Stick to what you know, and make a well informed decision yourself. If you are travelling with your family or a group of many people, ensure you get a car with enough luggage space and room for everyone. Additionally, clear all your doubts about the contract, for example most car hire agencies will claim a 24 hour rental period, but will fail to mention if it means 24 hours from that particular moment, or from the start of the day (usually midnight). Also important is to check the car for any previous damage or problems, only a fool blindly trusts strangers, especially the kinds looking to make a profit. Also ensure you have adequate insurance when you leave the car hire agency with the car.

Once you have rented a car, the first and fore most precaution to take is to, make sure you keep a daily log of the kilometers logged by you in the car you rented. Some car hire agencies will have hidden charges for driving over a certain number of kilometers per day. If you have a driver as well, make sure you get him to sign the log as proof of distance travelled. Another important precaution, especially in the presence of a driver, is to log the distance travelled every time you leave the car, lest the driver messes around with that, increasing your overall charges. Another thing to keep in mind is to pick your own hotels, rather than have the driver of the car hire company suggest you one. Following their preferences will in all likely-hood get you over charged, as they make hefty commissions every time they bring a customer to the hotel.

Finally, make sure the car hire agency does not charge outrageous cancellation fees. This can come as quite a shocker if by chance you did not like their service and intend to return the vehicle early. It is important to remember that all car hire agencies are only looking for a profit and hence it is only up to you to make a well informed and reliable choice.

Negotiating at a car rental

Posted on | February 25, 2012 | No Comments

A car rental is a place where various kinds of vehicles are available for rent. This is a major convenience as buying vehicles for specialized purposes or temporary reasons are very expensive, and will not be feasible for travelers and tourists. Here is where a car rental comes in, usually having large fleets of cars and other vehicles to fulfill the customer needs. The central issue when dealing with a car rental is negotiating the prices and figuring out the best deal possible.

It is well known that car rental services have deals with all major manufacturers. This enables them to wield large fleets of cars and rent them for a fraction of the price that a customer would have to normally pay. Deals vary from a car rental to car rental, some hire the cars from manufacturers, others buy cars from them while having a high buy back offer, and even others will make deals which offer manufacturers a percentage cut on rental profits. For the customer, this allows a leeway to negotiate lower prices. Negotiating will almost always yield results, and customers should never take the first price offered. Bargain hard and your trip will be considerably cheaper than expected.

Being polite and sweet instantly makes you likable and increases your chances of getting a steep bargain. Ask for prices below what you expect to pay, and negotiate upward till you are satisfied. Travelling off season will also boost your chances of finding a bargain at a car rental. During peak season times, demands for cars are high, and prices tend to skyrocket. Plan your trip such that you reach around the off season time. During this period the demand for cars is at its lowest and negotiating a cheaper price will be much easier.

Another method is the walking away technique that usually works wonders. Here ask for a price, state it as the highest you can afford to pay and after negotiating, walk away if the offer is not satisfying. In most cases the car rental service will call you back and negotiate a new low. Even in case they do not call you back, you will now know the bottom line a car rental will choose to negotiate to.

Finally do look around for good deals. Most cities will have multiple car rental ( biluthyrning ) services which offer different prices with different features. Figure out the number of features and facilities which are provided by various car rental services. GPS, entertainment systems, insurance etc. are some of the features one should be on the look out for. Scourge the Internet and local newspapers for credit card discounts, reward programs, and other such discounts offered by car rental services. The more you research and search around, the better your chances of finding a cheap car.

How to rent a car on the virtual platform

Posted on | February 24, 2012 | No Comments

Most people will rent a car instead of buying one for specialized needs such as weddings, special dates, transport, travelling, etc. This makes far more sense than buying a car since it’s obviously much cheaper than buying one for you. In most cases it is not even feasible to buy vehicles, like a limousine for a date, or a truck for moving goods, since the need is temporary while buying a vehicle is a lifetime investment. Most people will not need such vehicles on a regular basis or even be able to afford having one as maintenance can get expensive.

It should be easy to find a car rental in almost every civilized country on the planet. Airports and locations such as railway stations commonly have many rent a car ( biluthyrning ) services for incoming tourists and other visitors. It should be easy to find car rentals in major cities as well. The services offered by rentals will vary depending on the area and their specializations. Some will offer luxury cars, others trucks and other various heavy vehicles for industrial or large personal projects, like moving your house. It is up to the customer to decide how long they wish to have a car and what kind of car, which will dictate the cost incurred.

Old model cars offered by rental services are the cheapest cars available for rent. These are targeted toward tourists on a budget, or students wishing to tour the country. To get a limousine for a date or a funeral, is far more expensive, and will create a considerable dent in the buyer’s pocket. Trucks and other industrial vehicles will vary in cost depending on the requirement but is usually quite expensive. Other requirements to rent a car include owning a credit card, or having a bulk amount of cash, quite obviously a driving license, and very possible a minimum age requirements.

Although driving license is usually provided above the age of 18, a minimum age to get a car is higher at around 25. A credit card is necessary as a deposit to assure the car rental service of the legitimacy of the customer. Alternatively it will be necessary to deposit a large sum of money, relative to the market value of the car, with the rental services. Insurance is another important factor to consider when it is necessary to get a car on rent. Third party insurance is compulsory in almost all countries in the interest of public safety. Wisdom dictates buying personal accident insurance and theft insurance when you rent a car, especially when renting the car for a long period of time and if you intend to travel a lot.

Google will allow a single domain to lead the search result

Posted on | September 17, 2010 | 1 Comment

Before the end of this week, Google used to represent a maximum of only two results that came from the same domain name on one page of search results. Google has now officially announced something which many of the people were considering a bug or some virus previously; it  has announced that now, a single domain will be able to dominate even the complete page of search results from Google. Google has changed its ranking procedure and this recent change in the search results procedure is intentional from Google.

The representatives of Google informed the press about this change and while discussing about it, he said that the change in Google’s ranking algorithm is a step to make searching easier for users. The users will now be able to find results from just a single site at the same page instead of going through the search results to find the one’s you are looking for. This has been done to entertain users whose queries indicate strong interest of users in a specific domain name. Google further announced something which is the part of great interest. Google said that with this change in the ranking algorithm, Google looks forward to provide its users with search results that are more focused on a single site and provide deep information from that website while Google also continues providing other related search results from other websites on other search result pages.

Peter Norvig, from Google also said that to represent ten results that came from the same domain name, you don’t need to give similar results in all ten places. In fact, all the ten results can be different and interesting; still they are from the same website. After the first page, the search results that is minor in the information that they contain start coming in the results. Google’s new ranking algorithm is a sure way for organizations that are looking forward to reputation management and will be one of the most interesting Search Engine Optimization features that are being offered.

This does help users a lot to get the results that they desire to have but the developers will have a raise in the competition because of the domination of one domain in one topic will set the others in the background. The new ranking algorithm is a great favor to people using Google for their queries as it will take them quite less time and they will come up with the desired output. Users will be able to see the relevant searches but not in the same way as they were before. The scattered results will all be confined on the main page followed by all the secondary results.

SEO Tactics- White Hat or Black Hat

Posted on | April 26, 2010 | 1 Comment

Although internet had indeed become a household name, the word “internet” was not commonly used before the 1990’s. As the internet gained more and more popularity, companies began to market their products and services online for profitability. It has become important for companies to have an “online presence” more than ever. Internet marketing strategies include SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization), banner ads, e-mail marketing, and Web 2.0 strategies.

SEO is used particularly more than other internet marketing strategies to drive internet traffic to certain website. This is in part because e-mail advertisements end up in the “junk mail” folder usually and never gets opened. Also, because SEM and banner ads are a paid advertisement, small business owners who don’t have the budget to pay for advertisement usually opt for the free method. Web 2.0 might be free but very time-consuming.

Because of the popularity of SEO, it has gained much attention and some of it is not so good. The terms “white hat” and “black hat” describes the kinds of tactics that a person or marketing company uses. White hat refers to acceptable methods of marketing online. Black hat refers to unacceptable methods of marketing online. Notorious users of black hat strategies include BMW Germany and Ricoh. Both companies were removed from Google in February of 2006 for using black hat SEO tactics.

Black hat seeks to better online page ranking using methods not approved by search engines. Black hat can also seek to deceive searchers by taking them to a page not requested when searching. Some examples of black hat SEO are link farming, keyword stuffing and article spinning. Because search engines tend to list websites that has more clicks on top, link farming tries to pay other websites or people to artificially click into their site and thus, ensure a higher ranking. Keyword stuffing is described by Google as Randomly Repeated Keywords. This method hides popular keywords into the background of the page to get searched. The keyword can be miles apart from the content being searched for by the searcher. “Noscript” tags is another keyword stuffing technique.

White hat SEO, on the other hand, means following search engines’ rules. It is honest marketing because it is connecting searchers with the web sites they were requesting. Some legitimate methods of white hat SEO to increase traffic are cross-linking, writing relevant content writing with widely searched keywords, and URLs normalization tactics.

While black hat tactic might get your website the prominence it needs for a month or two, it can spell disaster if Google or other popular search engines discover it and block your site from searches. White hat requires build up time in order to have online prominence; however, it can only go up from there.
